Borderlands2 - Bonerfarts

I think my game is broken. My objectives for the bullymong killing mission has me at 2 bonerfarts left to kill and I've been driving around and walking around everywhere I can go and no more are spawning. I tried leaving the area and coming back, the problem persists.

I had to restart the whole game to fix it. What a nonsense bug.
