RAGE length

I just bought RAGE. I know I'm a year late. Lol. I've been playing for almost 5 hours and I hear that the game could last anywhere from 8 hours to 15.  I looked at the number of missions and I'm about halfway through. I really like the game and I don't want to blaze through. Has anybody played it and want to tell me how long their time with it was?
