Sony we want Gears Of War on PS3!

Epic's president would love to see Gear's on PS3? WHY NOT!? Sony Pay epic a freaking ton of money and i'm sure they'll be up to it!

Anybody else agree with me on getting yet another xbox exclusive on PS3? Tell me what you think.

I'm not a fan of Gears of War and don't really care if it gets on PS3 or not, but if business were that easy, everyone would have everything. Sony can't just throw money at something for no good reason. And I'm pretty sure Microsoft Game Studios owns the rights to the trilogy, so it couldn't happen until 4 and beyond I believe.

it may be epics ip, but they are under contractual obligation to keep it on the 360, until the contract runs out it will remain that way

Developers say a lot of things, like Square Enix saying they'd like to remake Final Fantasy VII. It doesn't mean they'll do it, not by a long shot. The same goes for Epic "wanting" to put Gears on PS3, it doesn't mean they can or will. And this is not a childish battle between platforms as you see it.

I may not want it but I'm being realistic here. Throwing money at it just because you want to offend fans of other platforms is not a valid reason for Sony to make such a business move. I'd be inclined to believe that it wouldn't sell that well since Gears of War has been out rather long and a lot of people own multiple platforms, possibly voiding any reason to buy the game since they already own a copy and have already played it.
