Nope. It has been confirmed to work with SingStar Abba, Queen, Vol 1, 2, 3, and Pop. Some have said they got it even while they had a swapped PS2 disc in the machine. I don't think the glitch is tied to the disc you are using in any way.
You should try viewing some of your own uploaded media before going to the HOF to view videos. Make sure the videos you rate are <1000 ratings and <4 stars. Try repeating the process a few times if it doesn't pop up the first time. Also, you might need to actually enter the Play SingStar menu like you are going to sing a song for it to unlock. This glitch has always wound up working eventually, even for people like you who had problems with it initially. Keeping trying and it will eventually ping.
