Sunday Game Discussions, Week 17

Final week of the regular season. Twenty teams' season will end today, another 12 will have the opportunity to play for the Super Bowl.

Even though 10 of the 12 playoff teams have been decided, only three teams know where they will be playing a week (or two weeks) from now; Atlanta and Baltimore at home and Indianapolis in Baltimore, with Cincinnati locked into their sixth seed.

Playoff scenario checklist as follows:

Games to keep an eye on today in the order you should care about them and/or expect something interesting or unexpected to happen:

Early:

  • Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
  • Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
  • Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

Late:

  • Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
  • St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks
  • Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

I used to root for the Boys' but now GO Seahawks!

Or I may stay neutral and enjoy the games like i've been doing. There's no one better than a football fan!

Re: Sunday Game Discussions, Week 17

I'm hoping that Johnson and Peterson get both records today. I don't think the Bears will win at Detroit. If they do then they are in the playoffs right? Or do they need help from Minny or whoever else. Haven't been paying attention lately...

Looks like Reid is preparing his coaching crew no matter where he is next year.

Bears need to win and for Green Bay to beat Minny to make the playoffs

Andy Reid has already said he was coaching next year like 500 times already. Why ESPN is reporting that now is beyond me....

Nice! A couple of plays after Vontae Davis's weekly pass interference flag gets a huge INT.
