He's been a minimum 80 PT guy for the past 4 years. with 2 years just shy of 100 points, 96 and 97 respectively
But he's got who on his wing, Ryder and Lucic? Let's not forget that in Atlanta he had Kovalchuk and Heatley playing with him. Boston lost a 36 goal scorer and Krejci is out until November, so there's going to be some young players, (Wheeler?) or some grinders getting playing time that they shouldn't be getting. I say Savard gets 67-75 points this year. If you're looking for a centre, I would feel more comfortable with Stamkos, Backstrom, Brassard, Toews, Kopitar but since I don't know how the scoring works I can't really say.

OV starts his NHL season with a blast. 2 goals 1 assist against the Bruins
Caps start season with a 4-1 win.
I'm interested to see how Ovechkin, Semin, Malkin, and Crosby mature and get better this season. Semin and Ovechkin are starting off the season on FIRE (5 and 6 points respectively in two games). Crosby's doing okay (three points in two games) and Malkin's been pretty slow starting up this season with only two points. I expect them all to be 110+ players, even Semin. If Semin will EVER become anything more than an 80+ point sidekick with a big mouth, it has to be this season. Also, Tavares will be interesting to watch as he develops this season. Could be VERY good. Looked good vs. Pittsburgh (saw the highlites).
Wow, the Cryers can never just take a loss. They always throw bull**bleep** hissy fits at the end of games with no time left. Man up and just take the damn loss...I guess that's why they're called the Cryers. **bleep**ing Hartnell bit Letang, what are we, toddlers?
A memo to Coburn: Your team is in Orange, not white, bud.
What a disgrace to the NHL.
Anyway, big statement win for the Penguins. Putting that Phoenix game aside, where it looked as if the Penguins were just half-assing it anyway to conserve energy for tonight against PHI, this teams looks extremely hungry to repeat. I know it's a long season and many many things change, but if they play like this all year, watch out. Fleury and the defense both were on fire. The only goals scored for PHI were either power play, or when the Penguins had lost a stick...once being Fleury who lost his stick.
