Warhawks not exactly like battlefront.  It's more cartoony, unrealistic, and with 2 playable teams that don't have stories behind them.  And the maps aren't as epic.

There is the original WarHawk that came out for the PS1. I have never played it but I think it has a story behind it? I like your choice of words, "unrealistic." A game set in the past, somewhere far away with aliens and weapons not even heard of is more realistic? lol!

WarHawk is not a hard game to play, at least with the basic mechanics. Once you learn how to use the basic soldier, you will learn to use the different types of weapons and strategies. This is not a game that people use teamwork all of the time and they don't use the mic that often. But it is a good game none-the-less! I enjoyed many hours of playing it! I would recommend it!!!

Lord of the Rings: Conquest was a horrible game! They had the concept of capturing command posts/flags but you had to go a dedicated route and there was nothing you could really do about it. SWBF let you freely roam the battlefield and decide what post you wanted to capture. I apologize, but going from one to one on a dedicated route is not a good game...

Defintely Lord of the Rings which has very good multiplayer although single player gets boring. I'm kinda mad EA shut down the servers.

I would also say Warhawk. Of course Warhawk isn't as popular as it was back in '07-'08. I came here hoping to hear some news on a new Battlefront for PS3. It would be nice to relive the glory days of Warhawk through a Battlefront game. Plus Battlefront has bad ass sound effects and music. I hope that if a PS3 Battlefront does come out, there is some Warhawk style "dogfighting" in it. It would be fun to have some TIE fighters and X-Wings battling it out in the skies!
