Hello All,
My son and I really enjoy Battlefront 2 and I was looking for a PS3 game with similar gameplay (split screen is a must!). While I love to play MW, MW2, etc., those games push the envelope a bit in terms of content when it comes to my son... Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Quake Wars: enemy territory is sortof similiar but it doesn't have split screen. You get to choose what character class you want to be like battlefront and you get to run around and shoot a bunch of bots on a map like battlefront. Warhawk is the most similiar splitscreen game with battlefront but it's not that similiar. and it's multiplayer only. It feels less realistic then battlefront (the characters sorta look cartoonish) but it's cheap so you could check it out. But I liked battlefront alot more than warhawk.

No, I've been looking around, all they have for the PS3 with Star Wars is the Force Unleased, which is very different -- and one player, and the animated star wars clone wars. I'm not sure if that's multiplayer or not. Even if it is, I would imagine it would be online only.

Warhawks not exactly like battlefront. It's more cartoony, unrealistic, and with 2 playable teams that don't have stories behind them. And the maps aren't as epic.

Warhawk is the closest I would say. SWBF helped me get better at that game to, its easier to play imo, its smoother feeling.
