Also, does the rage quit penalty still exist? I try to avoid getting into a 45 minute game because if for some reason I need to go do something else for 5-10 minutes, I don't want to be penalized. It's not really a big deal, I'm more curious.
Does the same for me every time. Happened during comm. Night and it filled up. Couldn't get back in.
It only happens every four or so hours and takes 5 mins to reset. Not a big deal to me.

I would try running the Starhawk connection troubleshooting thingy in the multiplayer menu and see if it tells you anything to do. I realize it's been kind of a joke for some people, but others were able to make the suggested chanes and fix the issue.
I've personally been one of the very lucky people who don't ever get disconnected or have the game freeze. I had two freezes way back in early 2012, but after one of those early updates, I've not had a single problem since. Again, I know that is "special".

as far as I know the quit penelty is still there but the skill score is so broken I don't care about it. I don't get the update glitch very oftern but I get the XMB kick all the bloody time and rage kicking that happens too >(
