I'm a bit late to the party on Starhawk, just picked it up recently. I've just gone through the campaign, and what is up with every single cutscene hitching up for a couple of seconds? It would hitch up near the beginning of the cutscene, then the rest of the cutscene would play out fairly choppily. Is this normal?

A lot of people are having this problem. Don't worry about it.

The main reason I was concerned is I've seen videos on YouTube where the cutscenes don't stutter.. made me concerned it was my console. How common an issue is this and why does it affect some but not others?

Seems it is more common than not.

If you have seen YouTube videos without the constant stutter than it could be just lucky screen grab for that user or something that was captured "in-house".

Even the demo of the game has this problem (at least for me). Just how the game was released sadly.

it originaly moved smoothly but recent updates bugged the cutsceenes and the beggining of Harvest season.

I have read this from a few other players but I bought the game on it's release day and beat the single player at every difficulty before moving on to the game's multiplayer and for me, the cut-scenes (audio) skipped around since the "day one" patch.
