The Mayans didn't account for leap year, kids.  IF READ CORRECTLY, as they intended, not using our modern Gregorian calendar as a basis for interpretation - world shoulda ended a long time ago.

sorry bate but the mayan calendar is much more of an accurate time keeper than our gregorian calendar.....hence our need to include leap years lol

Perhaps that which destroys us did happen long ago, but due to the size of the galaxy and speed of light we have not noticed it yet?

 

Cue huge gamma burst from BetelGeuse, and subsequent bombardment of radiation from every direction once our ozone layer is irradicated.
