Spin-to-win and backwards locking aren't broken, no way...neither is the field-of-view increase you get, and being able to lock onto enemies easily while dodging (forwards, backwards, side-to-side)...

All flight modes have their pros and cons, AF is suited for A2G more than CAF and CAF is better suited for G2G and when flring CAF in Gatekeeper trying to spin AND fly through those gates is extremely difficult.
Its harder to dodge in NF does that mean all the pro flyers fly NF?

All this "I dont use shield because I'm better than you" is crap talk aswell, although Shield and Stealth are incredibly annoying its part of the game and we all have to deal with it. It doesn't affect someones skill in a Hawk whatsoever, also, CAF does have its own 'Backlock' but as Arvada said its 'Sidelock' and is even more difficult to pull off.

Just watch the videos of AF and CAF dodging, compare how its done in each, then make your own decision which is easier
