no, quoting myself from above here:
"Go to your PS3's hard drive, delete all the updates and mandatory installs and reinstall them. Also, if you haven't, reset your modem.
I'm almost sure this will fix it because I went through same thing. Good luck and let me know! "

Please elaborate when you say "Go to your PS3's hard drive, delete all the updates and mandatory installs and reinstall them."
I've deleted the Starhawk game and save data from my system numerous times and re-installed them, but that doesn't work
I am under the impression you can't delete firmware updates/installs from the PS3... is that what you mean?

I'm really sorry, but it seems that you've done I stated above.
The only other thing I can possibly think of is maybe it is your router settings. I had issues when playing Halo due to my router. Have you tried connecting your PS3 directly to your ethernet cable? If not, give that a shot even if it means shlepping your system to another tv in your house. At least that way you will be able to identify the problem.
Let me know how that works.

Tried that as well, and my system is now directly wired to my modem
I called my ISP, they said everything is fine with my connection
Still having the problem
Still no resolution...

I'm with you. I have tried it all as well. I thought by the second patch something would change, but I was wrong. I would be happy to see something scroll across the ticker at the bottom of the uplink screen saying, "We know about the connection issues and am working on it." As was the case during the Beta release. They did something then that had a vast improvement on the connection issues. What concerns me now is, whenever this problem is discussed it returns with, follow the FAQ on connection issues. This makes me wonder if it is going to be addressed? Now if we were looking for something to be nerfed, you will find plenty of responses from LBI, including what will be nerfed at a later date.
