My skill would be to spawn with and be able to use all hawk pickups even if I stay as a troop or use a ground vehicle.

Then they would have to modify the torp so you could detonate it at any point in the sky, maybe make clusters timed like grenades.

A troop with shield on, uh yeah.

I can hear A2G players now  "That shield thing is OP"  :smileytongue:

The pickups should only be for G2A though, it would make too much of a mess G2G

Well if they made it so you can kill yourself I say why not?

Then you can launch a torp at your own feet killing everyone around you, but at least you die as well.  Its more fair then what we have now IMO.

Its like I have said about the hawks, its not that they can kill lots of people easily that bothers me, its the fact that they dont have to risk death or take a death to get those kills.

If everytime a hawk dropped a torp within a shield it was a suicide I would say that is a good balance.  They would then have to chose to either take out the shield alone and survive or take out the entire base and die as well.  Risk vs reward = balance.

So for troops to be given this choice only seems logical.

The last patch adding a bit of cluster damage if you bust them too close was a move in the right direction, just not far enough and why only for clusters?   You would think Flak at close range would also kill ya.  Torps are just dumb as is.

Plus making the torp detonate with a second button press would allow hawks to use it A2A, so they get extra functionality as well.

I wish I was in the video game making business.
