You got kicked and still got a Rage penalty? Doesn't seem entirely appropriate..... On a side note I got my first Rage Quit penalty last night! Bit of advice don't tell your wife this: "honey I have 6 minutes left.. If I tend to your emtional needs now I get a rage penalty. Can it wait?"
Ok I didn't do that.... but Im sure someone will try it. I took the rage penalty. Before I got some REAL rage.
Not that I care about my skillscore, but I notice that it hovers around 3400 and by the time I reach 3500, its suddenly drops 200 points. changing only slightly after games (still not sure entirely what effects it, since killing lower level players seems to give me a boost, which they said it wouldn't)
But I do notice it would suddenly drop to around low 3300's at random. At least now I know it's not random, but from host kicks. They seem to make a huge dent in your skillscore.
I'm sure this would really **bleep** off people trying to compete for the leaderboard or raise their skillscore, only to be kicked, get disconnected or have their game crash mid game in a 20-30 minute server.
I'm starting to think the skillscore is some sort of dimented social experiment by LBI on its playerbase.
Really though, having some random arbitrary number represent your "skill" is a way to keep the obsesive people still playing, and it's shown to work in other multi-player games, but part of me still thinks it's a social experiment.
