HAHA I love this board. Shame no one will be here in two months. And Bus notice I never respond to you unless you need to make a cute joke about me first. Expect a response when you talk about someone dumb****. No need to go all sour.
IRRES, you have the same tired jokes you did when you came here. You were one of the more vigorous defenders of this crap but I think you would like to forget those days.
For my love IRRES, for my love.

Yeah. The movement to mobile gaming is in full swing. I can't say I'm entirely thrilled. I've played some on my ipad and phone...but it just can't compare to sitting on the couch, big hd screen, 7.1 surround, and a big epic game title.
I don't know how old everyone here is, but I'm 37, and my first console was the Atari 2600.
Taking into account all the changes the industry has gone through over the decades....its quite interesting.
The development costs being cheaper for mobile as opposed to the ever increasing cost of home consoles, it must be easier to make a profit. It's no surprise that a lot of japanese developpers moved to handhelds this generation (the PSP is even alive and kicking there).
Not to mention at the rate the industry is churning out games, there are far more interesting games coming out than people's ability to play them (at for those with a job and other responsibilities).
I wouldn't mind a move to handhelds as long as I can output them on my tv, like the PSP. However, I absolutely hate mobile touch screen control for any form of action game.
First console: NES
Yeh, i hear ya. Just would be sad to see console gaming dry up. I own a psp and do love it. The God of War games and the Metal Gear Solid games were great.
And yes, i do not like touch gaming at all.
