Check out the server rotation in the OP of that server's thread. But be warned: there will be noobs doing heinously stupid things, like build outposts in their territory. There will be 13 yr olds yelling to their mics in mexican, and GK might kill the server.
I'll add you when I get home from work.
I have already invited so many people to MBB that I have to now go through the list one at a time and delete tons of invites just so I can invite more, LOL.
So at present I have freed up about 15 spots, but can make more room if required for sure. Its just boring deleting the names so I only do a few at a time.

Anyone who skipped the OP and reads this I say "Build walls backwards almost always!!!!"
Awesomeful advice.
Fixed that for ya. But post a situation and we'll break it down. There are obviously examples of times when walls ladders in is desirable, but IMO the times and benefits of having backwards walls heavily outweighs/outnumbers them.
Even CTF on orbital I like to place backwards walls at each of the three paths back to your home base. This means when an enemy has my flag and tries to drive it home he finds a wall with no ladder blocking his path. In one location they can exit the vehile and proceed on foot, the other locations he must turn around or destroy the wall. This is precious time wasted and allows me to respawn and get to them before they can take off back to their base with my flag.

Philly you can recall your clan invite to Taipan_91. He likes WH better
PLus it would not feel right for him to play in a clan restricted for noobies, even on his worst days. ![]()

Understand I don't quite care as much as before because I fly more than anything else now. And when you fly, let's face it, "who really cares what's going on on the ground or with the objective?"
, it's all about KDR. In fact the only time I care about what is going on on the ground is when I spot defenseless troops by themselves that can boost my KDR with a quick invisi-Stomp. ![]()
But for the sake of discussion.
A wall is not meant to stop anything. It is an inanimate object. It is meant to impede progress.
Putting a wall ladders out defeats this purpose.
It exposes your consoles (I don't use hacker) but I suspect hacker can make your wall his wall then eventually his gate. Easy access in and out of your trap, which will surely only trap your noobs now.
It exposes any mounted turret as it gives easy access to get up there and disable them. Before taking a flag.
It gives no resistance from taking your flag.
And I think this is where we differ in philosophy.
Playing D on CTF is not about letting the enemy take your flag unhindered and then seeing if you can hunt him down. Some games give more points for killing a FC so people do this for more points. But better defenders know if you attack the attacker BEFORE he takes a flag you get two chances to kill him, in case the first one is not successful.
The more obstacles on his way to take your flag the better as it provides more opportunity to kill him.
Your trap will only catch the dumbest of noobs more than once. Who with half a brain would get caught in this trap more than once? "Oh no I've been trapped by an inanimate object...again" ![]()
Nobody who can play the game, overlooking all the vehicles that make walls useless, will walk into this without a plan to get out, or without making an exit before going in.
I've already proven this with other people insisting on ladders out in game , before I started flying, where with ladders in, I held the flag in our base for over 14 minutes by myself. While 4 of them, ladders out would lose it every 3-4 minutes and then fail to chase it down, against essentially the same opposing team. That was when my ground game was at it's sharpest, as I did not fly at all.

in fact you are probably better off making them gates with one wall ladder in. This essentially is the same as your wall trap with no exposed consoles or easy access ladders to your mounted turrets. And we all know how to mount turrets on gates.
I say leave one wall ladder in, because you will always know which way he is exiting, kinda like driving him to you. That's a much better trap. But good luck keeping randoms from lowering the gates, you need an organized team that understands how to play defense from a distance to pull this off.
