Oh. Well. Nevermind then.  I'll keep my two cats, a golden retriever, and a schnoozer.

Getting a couple of horses though.  They're sorta rescues.  Their owner died unexpectedly, his widow can't keep them, been a family effort to keep them healthy and cared for, but the family is getting tired of feeding these massive 'pets'.  So they're moving down the road to our place.

A chestnut and white paint mare - she's pretty nice sized, sturdy legs, good feet, nice attitude.... and a flashy sorrel mare - with dainty legs, she's short, and thinks she's running the place.

Re: Off Topic Thread for an Off Topic World

I just lost a TDM 130-150. But the catch is I went 58-1... Do I really need to go 78-0 to win? :smileysad:

Thank you sir.

Every animal we have is a rescue in one way or another.  I rarely seek animals out, they always come to us.... with the exception of our Oreo kitteh, and when I got her, she was a barn cat's kitten, guaranteed to be a good mouser.  And boy is she.  Her entire 'family' got wiped out a few weeks after we got her though - coyotes got them.  So, in a way even she's a rescue.

And.  I went by and visited with 'the girls' (mares) last night before heading home.  I've decided the short one with the thin legs that's a bit fat and awfully bossy shall be named "Snookie".

She's short, she's fat, and she thinks she's running things.
