I have a software question for those here that post Starhawk gameplay videos.
I just bought a Hauppauge HD PVR (not the newer HDMI Gamer Edition) and I also ordered Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 which should be here in a few days but was wondering what software everyone is using to edit their files.
Yous been well ripped off.
LOL, don't know if you mean with the HD PVR, Roxio or Sony Vegas.
I picked up the HD PVR since I still have some VHS tapes I'd like to convert to disc and it has the S-video/composite inputs.
So far it's working well for capturing stuff but need some way to edit and adjust the quality for YouTube uploads. Sony Vegas seems like the program most people use for such things.
I use FRAPS for PC gaming captures but wanted something else for input media content.
PhoenixArcher uses and recommended the Hauppauge HD PVR and she makes loads of good quality videos with it, so I thought it would be a wise choice.
I haven't posted anything to YouTube in years but want my current PS3 game captures to look their best.
Software - EyeTV, iMovie, Final Cut Pro and so on
Thanks, Are you using a Mac? Seems like it from the software choice.
Just got Sony Vegas today and about to upload my first Starhawk Capture with it (oh, the render times on my old desktop).
No titles or fancy overlays, just tweaked sharpness and color adjustments. I'll post here the finished test run.
