Okie, so this is no Warhawk 2. I will be the first to state that opinion. It has a lot of similarities to Warhawk, yes, but it is definitely a new game. Since when is this a bad thing though? Was Warhawk ever like a game you had played before? It was not. It was a unique take on aerial combat and shooter genre. Now many people will dispute this and come at me saying "zoMg they are replicating generic shooters to move units" and to this I respond, no, they are not. For those who have played Starhawk know that the build & battle by itself will present to gamers a brand new aspect of gaming never before experienced by a third person shooter.
It will take time to get used to, that is for sure, but those of you writing it off already are being stubborn. Is the game slower paced than Warhawk? I mean in many aspects it is, in a myriad of aspects you are confronted to a lesser extent throughout the game in comparison to FPS and other shooters. It's a bit slow to pick up at the beginning of rounds, I do agree with this as well.
Ok so I addressed a few of the major issues people are having (to recap)
-Slow paced
-Generic
-Not Warhawk 2
BUT this is where the real talk begins ---
What made you play Warhawk for 500+ hours? What made you play for 100+ hours? What made you come to these forums? What made you join a clan? What made you desire to gamebattle? It sure as hell wasn't the game. If we are being honest, then I can say that Warhawk was one of the most flawed broken games I've had the pleasure playing. It was fun as hell for sure, but don't forget the tank glitch, rank up glitch, basecampers etc. etc. that plagued the first 3 months of the games release. Yet you kept on playing. Was it the fun factor? Sure that played a role for sure, but what reallly kept you around was the community.
Yes folks, the community of warhawk. Truly something I hold near and dear to me. Guess what ladies and gents, we are back in full force. Sure there will be new people, however for every 12 noobies that come claiming they are warhawk vets with their combined 54.3 hours, you get the ol' familiar faces coming back in flocks. So just remember, this game may take time to get used to, but this is the SAME COMMUNITY and we will be back and stronger than ever. Buy Starhawk in 2012. You won't be let down in the long run or your money back guarenteed.

Anyways, I played warhawk for so long because it was a slow-paced Fast Action game that required nonstop critical thinking. Or at least, if you were good it did.
I sure as hell didn’t play it for the community. For every 10,000 people that play this game. 1 is worthwhile.
I played this warhawk because I could spawn in, with a knife and 2 grenades. Slice a dudes arm off while throwing a touchdown pass to another while I ran to a plane. To hop in a plane and shoot a dude out of the sky with some missiles before landing at a tank and taking over a base. Before an air to grounded attempt by a Forum beast, only to run into a bunker and pick up some rockets to rocket/grenade the tryhard out of the skies.
Can you do any of that in Starhawk??

Change your font color fool. Grey on brown doesn't work out well.

Manly, you don't really mean that you wouldn't have 4k posts on the forums if you didn't care about the community. I didn't say you had to like everyone in the community I just said it was because the community. Hate players or love them, it brought you back.
As for being able to do all that in Starhawk, well by mid round, yes, you can. As I said though, it IS a little bit slow paced and slow to get off the ground at the beginning of rounds. You'll like it I bet though, it is relateively well put together for an early beta.

It's late and I just wrote a paper on why the onset of puberty can differ from person to person. Cut me some slack.
It’s 11 CST, which means its midnight in maine, or wherever it is your located in the middle of no where. You clearly did just write a paper, which means it took a decent amount of time to finish. Which means when you started, it wasn’t “late”.
And my god. If I haven’t hit puberty yet, then you must still be in your terrible twos. Your just one lousy immature joke after another huh sunshine??
