That structure falling from the sky doesn't look very good... Simply putting objects on fire and having them fall from the sky isn't very interesting. Just some helpful criticism.
Thanks for the feedback. That was not a good representation of how things will drop in on the finished level.
I'll remove the picture to remove confusion.
The models on the first page are the "close to finished" versions of a few things.
Thanks again for the criticism. I welcome it.
Does anyone have a good screen capture of the Outer Rim star map?
There is a few brief moments during the cut-scenes that show some of the star map but I don't have a good way to capture it other than taking a picture with my point and shoot at just the right time.
I really wish there was a cut-scene video compilation since I'm doing a story level and there is lots of game art only found in the cut-scenes.
If anyone has or knows where I can find some more cut-scene stills I would be grateful.
Also, does anyone know where the Cypress maps are located in regards to Dust and the other key story locations?
Trying to keep with the story's cannon where ever possible. Thanks.
I believe Cypress was created as an afterthought. So you're going to have to make some fanfic based on the sounds of the planet names being used in the SP.
Yeah, thought the same thing but just maybe Dylan hinted about it somewhere.
BTW you can make the animation for the B&B buy simply converting over a "finished" model of the wall or such to holo using the material changer tool. Then you can have the newone animate down and use the follower with a tag to makesure it lands directly over the holo. THen using the destroyer for the holo set to explode and emitting smoke on the fall of the non holo. I made a vehicle for the second 8212 level that switched treads and such and noticed the holo animation I made looked much like starhawk when I first played beta...but was too lazy to actually try and make a Starhawk level using that...I was also annoyed at the not airships.
