The weapons shown in the video are not the ones from the level. Sorry for the confusion. I did post a note near the bunker that said this. You must have missed it.
The rig can't be sized any smaller due it's complexity. Plus it plays a key in the story which is explained in the spoiler tag.

This rig is a new type of extractor (Mark III) from the newly formed R Technology Systems and Alchemy Industries joint venture for which Cutter is now head of research and development. The Union has lost some of it's power in the outer rim due to events which I won't discuss here.
You may have noticed the "RA" logo on the mast of the rig. And you thought it just was for "RubiconAlpha".
I'll post a video of some of the other models as soon as I feel they are ready.
