I cant  figure out how to get 2 people on the SAME team with online split screen. Im not talking abouut Co-op, I mean competitive

Make sure the Split team option is turned off, that will ensure you are on the same side

The host does it when they create the server. If you host, it will be in server options.

I love that option. I always go for the split when my gf plays with me. She loves Starhawk and she's alright but she wants to drive n she'll just charge a tank then get mad at me for not killing it.

Check the manual. That may help. Better yet, go ask LBI. They interact with players ALL THE TIME!
