Aren't all games custom? There are no official servers so what is a custom game? I see I'm on the leaderboard because I played last night but I didn't use matchmaking. I just joined the PSForums game and had my own server going before that.

I'd sign up but I don't think I'd make it into the top 16.  It would be cool to get a prize of some sort for participating like the GGL tourney in Warhawk where we got a special blade.

Now thisis a tournament!! Starhawk should continue to work with MLG and MLG only for great tournaments. Credibility is provided by the best and MLG is the best.

Honestly, how is this a real tournement? they track wins and wins only? they take the top 16 people by wins. so basically you can completely suck **bleep**, but if you play a ton, you get the top spot. It is not gaging how good you really are, or how good your team is. it is only looking at one aspect of things. I think they are doing a half a55 process here personally. I am still in it, but I only get to play a couple times a week. so I get penalized in how good I really am. Also as Shawn Z stated, he is winning tons of maps, and not credited with anything. Last thing there is a nice disclaimer that "they are not responsible for any errors in data collection" so basically if you can cheat the system, or accidently get recorded wins and things, you get in, and they dont care. shame.
