My disc finally crapped out. My ps3 usually cant even read it anymore
Does anyone have any tricks to repairing a Bluray disc. Would Bestbuy or Eb games be able to fix it ya think.
When it does read the disc I get frozen on the loading screen of each match, generally before all the structure icons appear when loading. When I try ti quit the game it reset the ps3 and turns off my controller, if I dont quit the game the ps3 freezes after 5-10 minutes of sitting on the loading screen.
Turns out I have been cleaning my discs incorrectly and likely created this siituation.
I clean discs in a circular motion, with Blurays you suppossed to go from center to edge!!!! This is the first ps3 game of mine to ever mess up, my kids abuse all my games and they still play like magic, this one has been getting worse and worse for many months.
Its sad that my time with Starhawk has come to an end, but judging by the ammount of servers I would say everyone else is not too far behind me, maybe its just GTA5, maybe Starhawk is finally on its last leg....
Whats more is I have the grizzly and pod shooter and skins free from plus until Nov 9, would have been nice to at least keep playing until these extras were expired.
Dont ask me how I still have the plus freebies even though I dont have plus, Its my secret and I wont tell.
I wonder how much a used copy of starhawk at eb games would cost me......
Oh and no peanut butter or toothpaste suggestions please, I only have crunchy peanut butter.

I had fallout: New vegas do this to me.
I used some Meguires liquid wax on it, rubbed it in good, let it dry, and buffed it off all using a clean, cotton, shirt. The game has worked fine since!

Cool pil, will try to aquire something similar, also I`m gonna stop at bestbuy they sell used games, bet I can get a new copy for the smae price as the wax, lol.
Probably for less.......
I already had the wax for my car so I just gave it a shot, was very surprised. I've actually used the same method on some audio CDs as well with good success.

It made the disc work with no issues for about a day.
Now the disc is completely unreadable. New starhawk cost $20. Used cost $15.
I hope starhawk goes free on plus then ill buy a yr sub.
