MAG did the same thing and it definately helped when they did it, added a lot of noob fodder

Uh in Starhawk you only need one or two, maybe 3 skills max.
So a level 6 cap should be enough for anyone to enjoy the game forever.
I only use 3-4 skills very often, so this might have something to do with it.
Maybe cap them at a single skill until they buy, that skill should be selected and it will auto unlock at the start of the trial.
There is no advantage to being a higher level in this game after all, why would people pay?
