If you're having problems with the spawn points you should play some Skirmish, it still happens there but not quite as often, aslong as you pay atttention to the map before spawning in.
Also if you're a squad leader and you see the message at the top right of your screen "Orbital Bombardment is ready for Squad Leader use" or something along those line, press left on your D-Pad (I think its left), go to 'Off map support', 'Orbital Bombardment' and then choose where you want to send it in.
You dont have to send it in right away, wait for the perfect time, i.e taking a heavily guarded base or taking out a tank.
I just wanted to point this out because its annoying when you get the message but your squad leader doesn't know how to call it in.
It becomes available once your squad reaches a total of 2500WP for anyone wondering.
