I have different thoughts about dust....
Dust 514 is probobly the most realistic shooter I've never play. The maps are huge, and the battles make me feel like I fighting a real war. Dust takes skill and time to get good at, which is something I love about it. The graphics suck right now, but since it's so fun I dont even mind the graphics. The game takes a lot of teamwork, and staying with your squad has great benefits.
But then again, everything in dust is confusing and is different from other shooters. Even using your mic is hard to figure out.
Dust has a lot of potential. It is connected to eve, which is awesome. No other game has done something like this before. Dust has the potential to possibly surpass big games like uncharted or god of war in terms of popularity.
Now let's get to the negative side of dust, and this is what makes me wonder. Dust was first annonuced in 2009. It is 2013, and it is just in open beta. Why did it take them so long to make thus game? Most games take about 3 years to complete. Ccp is one slow developer!

I'm far more interested in Crysis 3 than Dust. The only thing that I really had negative to say about the Crysis 2 MP was the instant lack of players. Crytek suffered from an inflated ego when they released Crysis 2, they did no advertising and no marketing (a familiar problem here on the SH forum)- they went with a "What, are you kidding, it's CRYSIS... everyone knows about that and all we have to do is build it, they will come." How dumb! - thinking that console players pay any attention to what's popular on PC.
Crysis 3 seems to already have tons of ads and marketing behind it, so I'm hoping the crowd shows up.
