Re: Starhawk or Dust?

The main point of dust is that it's persistent. Winning in dust means something in the grand scheme of the game, where as most other games winning means nothing besides people getting egos.

Plus it's a great rpg. RPGs are all about grinding, what better than a game like dust?

Man! I hate the snipers in dust! Snipers are so OP! I was in match and I couldn't move without being sniped! I had to stay in my MCC!!!!!

Yea, with the proper gear a Sniper can do incredible amounts of damage, I saw Logi sniper once and asked him why he was a Logi instead of Scout, he told me it was so he could use 2 complex damage modifiers (+20% Damage, I think it stacks) and a Prototype sniper, he also told me that he had Weaponry V, Sniper Rifle Operation V and Sniper Rifle Proficiency V.

Snipers are annyoing but you can always do what I do, run along the mountains killing the campers. Usually they're Scouts so they're easy kills, I always do this when starting a new character and I need to grind, although I only do it if it looks like my team can hold the objectives without another player helping them.

Yeah damage mods stack but they aren't supposed to. They said they're fixing it.

I also heard Ambush spawnpoints will be fixed in the next build.

So ambush might finally be playable.
