Btw, lbp karting looks awesome! it is getting no advertising though! It might sell worse than starhawk!!!!!!!!
LittleBigPlanet Karting will sell at least 4X as many copies as Starhawk and that's my low estimate.
I was in the beta and know LBP fans will likely check it out in larger numbers than Warhawk fans did Starhawk because it stayed so true to what worked in the both LBP and LBP2.
Even the Vita version of LBP in only one month has sold just under the sales Starhawk has so far after nearly six.
There is just a bigger fan base and again it didn't try to re-invent itself like Starhawk did.
Note to future developers. If it works don't fix it!

I really like LBP, but I think the Karting game is really blah. It's basically ModNation Racers with LBP skinning and some customization updates. ModNation was already very customizable to begin with, so it's not even groundbreaking. I also thought the gameplay was a bit bland after playing it for a while... nothing to keep my attention.
As for advertising, LBP Karting is getting a lot more advertising than Starhawk ever did. At least 6 times as much and it hasn't even hit that week-prior-to-release-date stretch.
Whatever, I don't really know why I'm posting about this anyhow... I just keep playing what holds my attention.

Yes, heard that a lot during the beta but the user created levels gives me hope that user creators will make some amazing "full 3D" levels.
I liked ModNation Racers racing more than the cart racing in LBPK but the freedom to create something other than just another race track is where I believe LBPK will shine.

Need for speed is for noobs.
I won't argue with you on that, but this is likely the closest we'll get to a Burnout: Paradise sequel so that's fine by me.
Arcade style racers are more to my liking then driving sims. I'll admit that.
