Starhawk and Halo 4 are both my favourite games for the year 2012. My expectations for both games were sky before launch. So I'll put down a detailed review and I encourage you to put down a score/review for both games as well.
Let's Begin!
Singleplayer:
Halo 4: Overall Halo 4 has a great campaign when compared with most games. Even though it lacks in some parts it still rounds of well. With the singleplayer gameplay being arguably the best in the series it does live up to its hype. This time around you get to face forerunners along with the covenenat which makes it only more intresting. The visuals are easily the best ever for a 360 game. It has a 6 hour long campaign although once you've beaten the game you will want to give it another go. However despite having a great singleplayer mode it does have some flaws. The plot is mostly confusing and unlike the previous Halo games you won't want to pay attention to the plot. It's confusing, fustrating and lacks that epic feel of a bungie made game although Masterchief is more badass then ever! The plot of Halo 4 doesn't match up to the previous games but the gameplay is easily the finest in the series. Like all the other Halo games...even if you don't play the other modes this one alone is worth $60 easily.
Singleplayer score: 8.9/10
Multiplayer/Co op:
The Halo 4 MP is where the real strength of the game is. Most of you buying Halo probably bought it for the multiplayer and I can gurantee you won't be dissapointed with Halo 4. The new modes and the new vechiles make MP matches much more intense and is a HUGE improvement of Halo Reach. The maps are smaller, their are more weapons, it takes shorter time to kill someone and it is what you would want a true successor to Halo 3 online to be like. There is much more customization for both the weapons and the character models. Long story short it took the good parts of Cod and mixed it in with Halo 3 and added in some new elements to it and that's Halo 4 multiplayer for you. Overall the Halo 4 MP is easily the best in the series it may not have that fresh feel to it like the orignal Halo MP for PC although it is still in the top MP games of all time.
The last part of this review is the Co-op. There's not much to say here...but I won't be playing this for a very long time. It's not that its bad its just lacks depth when compared to the firefight mode. You learn everything you need to know within minutes and it gets repitive too easily. Some elements of this mode is good but after a couple play through's I simily get bored to tears and switch over to MP. It feels great in the start almost like an extended version of the campaign but like I mentioned earlier it really lacks replay value its repitiveness due when compared to firefight mode.

If you are a type of gamer that only plays singleplayer for the storyline I recommed you to stay away from this game. It's almost hard to believe that SM the developers for the God of War series would make a game and forget to add a story in. When it comes to judging the story the game barely passes. Voice acting is also quite weak. However when judging just the gameplay its fantastic. Though the game may be short and a tutorial for the MP mode with no story...it is easily the most innovative game this decade. Heck, for me its the most innovative game since Halo CE back in 2001. The gameplay is fantastic with the build and battle system stealing most of the credit. If you are a fan of Halo, Uncharted or Gears of War this game will surely appease you and make the SP experience worthwile (that is if you don't focus on the story line).

Multiplayer/Co-op:
After playing the MP mode for Starhawk all I have to say is...welcome to the world of Starhawk. Though the singleplayer may not be incredibly strong...the MP is probably the finest you will come across till now. It leaves Warhawk miles behind. You won't enjoy MP games such as Halo or COD anymore...well as much as you used to. The MP of this game is flawed...but it only makes it more fun. Spawning vechiles, buliding you own base, the amazing weapons, unique customization and much more make the multiplayer portion of this game so great that its hard to judge. It's a feeling you can't express in words...its not meant for that...its meant for you to sit down, play and explore as much as you can. I don't know if I'll have this feeling amount Starhawk MP 1 year later but all I can say is evertime you play there's something new you discover. If MP should be included in game it MUST be like this...or else its pointless to do so. The co-op mode is like a survival version of MP and just like the MP...its similpy brilliant.
