This is why in the beta we asked for the mini map to be moved to the side of the map and made more transparent just like it was in warhawk and LBI didn't listen to us they left it dead center of the screen. I know that it is a pain in the assss but if you keep flying with it pulled up all the time you will get use to it even though it does suck being dead center. So the only advice here is just keep flying with it up and try your best to get use to it.

yeah i did that in WH and have been flying with the map up since the SH beta too.  I was one of those "make it more transparant" people....it being in the middle didn't bug me too much but it needed to be more opaque for my tastes.

I've tried to do that, it's just too much on screen for me.  If the opacity was asjustable it would be awesome.  Since it's not though I'm one of those that likes the arrows telling me the last person I shot at.

Just practice, took me about 3 solid weeks to get all of this down, but I play like twice a week and weekends so if you play more frequently it should come in time.

to give credit where credit is due, I mean clearly freakyevil deserves the credit for teaching this to me and other new pilots, I believe "bus_driver" coined the name.  So you have bus to thank, freaky.
