You're still in BHD Mangaas. We have removed players from BHD but that was because we never saw them. They were the players from the games release and seemed to stop playing very early (there were lvls 9-20) while everyone was already in lvl 50s This was last year that the removals happened. Anyway you should join us in DUST 514 Mangaas, if you're into FPS.

Based on what I hear from others about activity, this sounds like any number of dead games. Warhawk, Battlefield1943 a year ago, earlier iterations of COD, etc., where all that is left are folks who play because (a) it's the only game they have/are allowed to play on line, (b) they have some degree of mastery that seems significant to them and they don't want to learn a new game (KDR lovers fall in this category), or (c) they are glitchers/cheaters who get a kick out of the exploits.  Don't folks want to move on to a new game that has many more servers, more variety, more developer support? I don't ask the question perjoratively, I'm genuinely curious why folks beat this dead horse. 

For me, personally (putting aside the fact that I never acquired a taste for SH at all, finding the game completely broken at launch), what I value most is playing with a large number of friends and potential friends. Folks on mic, servers full, some chance at random encounters that actually work out. Right now Battlefield3 gives me that, but it is by no means the only option I see folks on my FL playing - lots of co-op Borderlands 2 activity going on still, e.g.

From talking to Bus, it is clear that there is a very small group of hardcore SH players who just simply enjoy fooling around together, ranked or unranked, and probably wouldn't care as much for a full server in a different game. That's an impressive streak of loyalty, I'll admit, but hard for me to understand.

I've actually been playing since the game came out. Just joined BHD 'cause my clan, TSFH, didn't ever play (except me). There are still players joining up though. I recruited a few of my friends. I'll check if you're still in BHD. If not, PLYMCO would probably be happy to put you back in.

I will play starhawk AFTER it's dead. Even when it's totally gone, there will still be velvet, spamming flak and clusters on unsuspecting bob the builders.

nah your still in and I didn't even pop you off my friends list to make room for someone else...although that "last log in 2 months ago" tempted me

If you come back BHD is still playing but we play less frequently now.  ~50% of the weeknights instead of ~90% .
