Yes

yes

-Are you between 3-10 feet from your camera?
Sometimes. There are 2 settings I play at. Intense games have me at the edge of my bed, and RPGs get me comfy nearer to the back. Edge is <2 feet away, and @ the back I'm 5-7 feet and off center.

-Is the camera at or below eye level?
No

-Is the camera at or above knee level?
No

So the camera is either on the floor or above your head, this is not optimal but should still work.  You could lose some accuracy.

You looked through the cameras eye and saw the location you sit at, with your sitting positions being the bottom center of that view?  (Try looking through this view when you are 2 feet from the camera, can you see your whole upper body with your hands raised and then lowered?)

You should be able to raise your hands completely over your head and still be in the cameras view.

Some games only use the sixaxis motion sensing so even if out of the cameras view these games should still work.

The good games like Sports Champions require that the Move be visible at all times to track exactly where you are in your room, and how close to the tv you are.

I would also say go back into settings under accessories and choose calibrate motion controller.  If it gets hit really hard or dropped all the time I could see it possibly getting out of wack and you may need to do this.

Lastly there is a little button on the Move controller(More like a hole) stick a pen in there to reset the controller then calibrate it.

I have two Move controllers and they havent given me much trouble at all, one you get them set up right.

The only other thing I could think of is to carefully folllow the in-game calibration procedure.  If it asks you to point at the PSEYE look down the barrel and ensure your aim is true before hitting the button, it can only be as accurrate as you allow it to be.   It counts on you to tell it where it is in relation to the tv, dont set it up to fail.  If the game says point here, and you point somewhere else it will get confused.

Good luck, cheers.

It sounds like a lot to do, but this is only "if" you have issues, once they setup they just work in my experience.

Set up should only take a few moments.

Seriously, there's just certain things that we must accept about the PS4. In time, it may get better, who knows.

You've heard my voice, you've read my posts, you can google my name. I am not anonymous. How old do you think I am?

My guess is 28 or older but i've never googled your name or recall hearing you on the headset in game

is 1080p that much better than 1080i/720p? I have my capture card and it only runs up to those latter configurations so I haven't been playing on my 1080p capable tv

for gaming 720p is more than adequate as most games run in 720 on the ps3 (you can see the difference in games that do actually utilize 1080p though, and its way better in 1080p than 1080i)

Wow, this thread got all soft and gooey. I feel dirty coming in here. For shame.

"The best looking games this gen have been PS3 exclusives, and really its because of the resolution. Dark Souls was a let down graphically because it runs on 720p, as opposed to Demon's Souls 1080p. Run GoW or UC3 in 1080p and see what you're missing. Many claim these 2 games to be graphics porn."

I'm sorry to have to break this to you but GoW, Demon's Souls, and UC3 run at 720p native framebuffers. Dark Souls shifted to a pathetic 640p framebuffer with frame drops into the low teens on PS3. Anyway you have it, you haven't seen anything until you play Dark Souls at 1080p native and 60fps (thank god) along with some Supersampling at least on transparencies and a couple mods to patch LOD issues and graphic problems. The game is literally pure sex on PC and I do play with my PS3 pad. Orgasms. From the looks of it if you think those games are 1080p you are going to be in for a very good time come next gen consoles LOFL.

It only gets a crapload better from here and 60fps has a lot to do with it. People simply don't know what they are missing with juddery 30fps. Starhawk would be pretty nummy at 1080p and the 60fps would make it so much more playable. I hope 720 and 30fps will be totally gone next gen. Switching to 30fps on my PC is like switching to a slideshow.

Nice to see a thread like this for all of those that enjoy the game. I just cant enjoy it myself but dont hate on those that do. I recently jumped back into the world of Warhawk and still enjoy it's simplicity and speed. The sad part is that I saw a few cats that are contributors here in a round of Warhawk and asked them if they were still enjoying Starhawk and they siad they were in an apologetic fashion which made me kind of sad as if they thought I was frowning on them for asking. It's your time and if you enjoy playing a game and the friends you make in it entertain you have no excuses to make.:smileywink:
