Urgent Fury is pleased to announce our newest offering for the competitive Starhawk clans:

We have designed this league with helping clans get their footing in the Starhawk Competitive scene.

There are no physical prizes planned for this league at this time, as stated the purpose of this league is to help build up the competitive clans in Starhawk. The winning clan for each month will receive 6 months of basic webhosting from www.urgentfury.net

Sign up for the 2013 ladder open soon, if you have already created a team at Urgent Fury, you can join the event by going to http://www.urgentfury.com/ladders.php?l33-UF:-Wasteland-for-Starhawk---PS3---2013-Ladder beginning Jan 1st. If you have not competed in Urgent Fury, you need to have all of your team mates register at Urgent Fury (this is a one time registration) then the clan leader or designated rep needs to create your team by clicking here. You can create your team prior to all of your members signing up. Once you have created your team, you may add your members manually or members can request to join your team.

If you have any questions, please do not post them here, you can post them in the Official Wasteland Forum. We will monitor this thread and direct questions to the forum so that there is a centralized location for all questions.

Official warning to all clans

This is your one and only warning, you cannot play in multiple clans. If you are playing in Wasteland, you are in that clan and no others, if you are found switching clans back and forth you will be removed from Wasteland permanently.

So you need to make a choice if you are going to be a part of Urgent Fury or if you are not, this will be your decision. Remember we are also monitoring very closely for any players that are sharing their logins with other users so they can sneak in and play. If you are caught doing this, you will be removed from Urgent Fury permanently, if a clan if found doing this twice the whole clan will be removed including ALL OF ITS MEMBERS from UF permanently. We will not tolerate any kind of ringing at all.

How the league works:

Wasteland is an on going ladder where clans will schedule their own wars and report their stats, at the end of a period, 3 or 4 months all of the stats will be tallied to determine each teams rank for seeding into a double elimination bracket.

Once that bracket is complete then a winner will be announced, not before. There currently are NO WINNERS for Wasteland.

Contrary to the deceptive posting by several users on this forum, as stated above we have zero tolerance for cheating and suspension up to permanent bans will be placed on users that feel the need to cheat.

If a clan leader feels that this is the way to go, he risks having all of his members suspended as the leader should lead by example.

why not offer urgent fury merchandise as prize ? you could add the winners clan banner to the urgent fury merchandise i.e t-shirts sweat-tops or b-caps and offer that as the prize ?

Shout out to shane for doing another tourney after all that happened. Thanks for streaming our cb with UNIT last night and streaming a couple other events/cbs that are non-UF related. Just shows you care about the community, thanks man.

We have not done this for a while but since this is going to be a long term event, we have added an artwork kit you can download from http://www.urgentfury.com/images/WastelandMediaKit.zip to make your own sigs, walpapers etc.

For you guys that like messing with this kind of stuff, you are welcome to have some fun. If there are different things you would like to see added let me know and we will work on putting it in the zip file.
