Now that Sony is about to announce the Playstation 4 on February 20, 2013 and Starhawk has been an abject failure of a game, its now time to start talking about fixing all of the shortcomings of Starhawk in Warkhawk 2 for the PS4.
Lightbox if you are still in business since no body bought Starhawk, can you comment on your plans to develop Warhawk 2?

Heck no!
We have seen what attaching the Hawk name to a game will mean, I hope they revamp the series all together and call it something no one can mistake for a 5 yr old game.
I suggest something along the lines of MAG, which just explains the scale and gameplay to expect, but then no one will wish for a copy paste type of game like COD.
They need to rethink from B&B up.
Use the best elements of several games:
-Destruction of Red Faction Guerilla, add land deformation form that one game, and repair from Red Faction Arm.
-B&B of some of the best tower defence games out there.
-Ability to play in first or third person.
-Completely user mappable button layouts.
-Complete user freedom to create and save servers/server options.
-Take the best vehicles from Warhawk, Starhawk, Starwars Battlefront, Unreal Tournament, etc and create equivalent counter vehicles.
-Allow the same pickups for every vehicle.
-Make every vehicle transform from land to air mode.
-Make everything upgradable from the character to weapons, vehicles and structures.
-Adopt the play share create mantra.
-Get the MGS4 and Uncharted guys to do the cutscenes and story.
-Continue not being pay to win.
-add 3d, sixaxis, move, head/body PSEYE tracking options.
Display this all at 2160p with high detail and I would likely be good to go.

My first suggestion for making a better Warhawk/Starhawk...
Leave Hawks out of the game completely.
Half of your balancing issues done away with right from the start.
Plus you won't have the two camps (ground pounders and pilots) fighting for control of the game and how the game "should" be played.
Or just give pilots "Gatekeeper" and "Dogfight" like modes and only have air vehicles for troop transport everywhere else.
Of all the game's problems, the two camps never really playing well with each other is the biggest issue both Warhawk and Starhawk had.
"Build and Battle" without more permanent structures and captureable bases are a close second.
