those, there no big deal, they may lowering your health but u still be fine, its thoush missles you cant track so you dont know there coming. whell and im not high ranked and im still doin good.Z
I wouldnt say no big deal, if you go against someone that knows how to use them. I myself am quite deadly with the Swarm missles, they are also great at getting a player to waist a chaff, and then hit them with a homing missle

No... I think switching melee to the L3 button is a change for the better. Switching to the knife using the D-Pad just took too much time. By the time you pulled your knife out ... you died. And no one is going to come up to you and knife you while your shooting. You'd be dead by then. Let's see how it plays out when the beta is up and running. We'll criticize then.

I disagree that it takes too long. I don't even think about the switch from a gun to the knife, it happens in the blink of an eye - or about in the time it would take a normal person to think to hit the R3.

Every piece of info i hear is getting me more and more worried of how starhawk is going to turn out, other than the weapon pickups and the vehicles LB is completely changing everything instead of building upon what made warhawk a great game. Starhawk is making the mistakes socom 4 and killzone 3 did and look at what happened. No dedicated ranked servers,a leveling a up system replacing rankings, and skills/perks its not hard to tell LB is focused on bringing over the casual gamers, and another thing thats been bugging me is the knife being switched to R3, i can already see this being a problem, i can just see myself shooting at someone and just sprint at me and knife me. I hope during the beta they make some major changes to starhawk, i just hope LB listens to the warheads and remember that they're are the ones still playing warhawk and supporting it not the casual audience.
I'd like to see what comes out of the discussion Sushi_Pirate has with the devs later. There's a lot of discussion about StarHawk and it's relation to the Warhawk gaming style. LB has been open to the Warhawk community knowing its the players that are key in making a game last. Remember that it takes time for people's opinions to be discussed and changes to be implemented within a game. Also note that it will be a long time before StarHawk comes out, giving plenty of time for possible modifications in the game. Furthermore, I hope people can at least keep all of this in perspective knowing that there are LB devs reading the forums from time to time. StarHawk is like a child learning about what can and may not work for their gamers. Nothing is in stone and your opinions are important; at the same time we as the new StarHawk Community can and will make a difference!

I hated them in Warhawk hopefully they make the nessasary changes to them like not being able to jump out of a warhawk or just being able to land and get rid of any rockets locked on to you.
Getting in any vehicle that doesn't allow you to set in a seat, I would most certainly agree with.
I believe that because such a bulky pack is on your back, it should limit you to certain seated sections in the vehicles. For instance, I can see those wearing jetpacks riding on the back of the jeeps with the mounted gun, or riding the jet bikes or any other vehicle that exposes the pack area. But, as far as sitting in tight spots that a normal trooper would normally fit, would make the jetpacks a bit overpowered because not only can they fly, but it gives those troops the same amount of protection as the normal troops even though they aren't entirely normal. So I think if they are going to hitch a ride on anything, it should be selective. That way everyone isn't running around with a jetpack on due to the cons of wearing one. So even if a team mate wanted to aid you, they'd have to do so with the proper vehicle as well as the proper seating, either that or leave you be and provide cover fire.
