Its funny you mention that as I had a similar thought (got 2 of them in one game last week).
The problem is, like you suspected, I can't really verify it on my end easily.
I have an idea for a "perform X action and win" in an upcoming week. The only person, besides me, who would know the pre-determined action would end up probably being a mod or someone who doesn't play in the event at all.
