Most people find this game boring other then clan battles which can get pretty intense. Sadly not many of the forum guys here play too many cbs.

Lol, this would justify the game in itself, I've never seen a more active/opinionated/intellectual video game forum. A/los, the game is indeed fun, and has potential to be strategic––although just as much fast-paced/individualisitc (browse around the the sticked threads, they're mostly for new players and community events).

Alright thanks a bunch guys! I'll buy it when I get the chance! I watched the online and the only thing that seems strange is that it seems the characters move really fast.

I will say though, that if you're the kind of gamer who dives into a game and expects to do moderately well, this is not the game for you. You will get absolutely decimated (this is the kind of game where it's perfectly possible to go over 100 kills without dying, especially in a hawk. My personal best was 117-8 in lightweight-no hawks) at least a few times, and if this sounds like something that will turn you off, don't get the game because it will happen.
The real fun in this game comes from strategy, teamwork, and improving your skill and reaping the rewards from it. The game does not babysit you in any way. The better players win. Also the game is very deep IMO in that every strategy has a counter strategy etc especially when you start playing clan battles and organising skills, how to get buildings and vehicles up quickly etc.
Another thing since you mention you love 'shooters', this game is fairly vehicle dominant and the shooting mechanics are fairly simple.
If you want to see what the game plays out like at a high level watch the clan battles on this channel http://www.youtube.com/user/davenicolson
Don't let the first paragraph scare you off at all, this only applies to a handful of players out there. And only if you're unfortunate enough to run into them. Just like any other game, there are going to be some players who are just downright good, and seemed to have figured the game out.
For the most part, there are still a lot of newer players and you should be fine fitting in.........Or, you can learn by being thrown into the fire and learning from seeing what other players do. But yes, the good players will be noticeable.
Heh, if you want to see a game where it seems everyone is good and you'll get smoked if you are a new player - Try Warhawk.

When you do get the game let us all know, there are a few stickied threads up top you should check out. One has playtimes of some of the people who post here, another is a weekly event where we all play together, and there are 2 up there with good info for new people (the 101 and tactics threads).
Welcome to the SH community! (and if you need a clan.....well......ask me about BHD)
