Since it is a mid-story, all the Warhawk maps should be redone(except destroyed capital. How much more 'destroyed' do we need on that map). Like a Warhawk look with a Starhawk taste.
I was thinking the same thing (except for the part about omega actually turning into Scourge. That planet is technically part of the "outer spur" solar system if I remember, so that's still in a galaxy far far away so to speak.
But yeah, I'm thinking the developer could really have a lot of fun remaking all of the maps to look aged and battered, like they've been destroyed and rebuilt dozens of times. They could also have lots of alien maps on the other planets of the solar system, allowing for a very Starhawk-like look as well.
I'm thinking that a lunar map would be really awesome, and it could really mesh with the "space race" theme as well
