"Iron Condor" Gunship/Heavy Mech DLC suggestion

Hey guys!

 

I was thinking, how awesome would it be if they added a heavier, more lumbering version of the Starhawk, one that transforms into a gunship/dropship and can carry 4 passengers!

(Below are the details of my idea, but feel free to comment or kudo now if you're in a hurry :smileywink:)

 

Essentially, the "Iror Condor" would be an alternative to the Starhawk, and could even come from the same launch pads. In its mech-mode, it would have a Razorback-like machine gun on its right arm (fired with R1) and one tank cannon on its left arm (fired with R2). It should lumber around slower that a tank, but perhaps have more damage resistance than other vehicles. It would have one troop-hatch (similar to the one on the tank) on each shoulder, and perhaps two addional passenger seats on its back (however these passengers would only be able to fire behind the mech). I'm not sure if it should be able to stomp.

 

Pressing O would make it transform into a hovering gunship (I'm picturing a rounded design with a downward-facing jet-engine in the middle, and weapons on each side). In flight-mode, it would behave much like a Warhawk does in hover mode (With L1 to rise, L2 to descend), but maybe a little faster. I'm thinking that it would still use the cannon and machinegun weapons from mech-mode, but they would be mounted on the bottom and could only fire below the ship. The shoulder-mounted troop-hatches would shift to the sides of the ship, so that they could fire downwards, and the ones on its back would stay on the rear of the ship. As such, a Conder would become much more powerful when fully loaded, and would be a great team-vehicle.

 

Also, perhaps if it took a certain amount of damage in flight-mode (such as 1-2 MAW missiles) the rocket would give out and it would crash to the ground, where it could then continue in mech-mode until it was repaired enough to transform and fly away. This would create a cool moment of being "down but not out" and would make the gunship form somewhat fragile while still allowing for the mech form to be rugged and dangerous, as well as forcing the gunship to be agile to avoid being shot down in enemy territory.

 

 

 

 

What do you guys think? How much Rift energy do you think it should cost? Do you have any suggestions for how this should work?

It should be able to stomp and send out a shockwave that only travels infront of it but in a larger radius than the Hawk.

how about for a weak point it would have fuel tank on its back thats about one foot sqare in size and if its by a rocket it kills ayone inside

Now that's thinking. But lets have more option to it's weak point what I meet for a weak point was what class would do well agents it. Like air, land, tanks, jets stuff like that. But you are like 1/3 of the way to it's weak point. Here is what you are missing on that. Where on it, what will it be, and what class should be able to take it out. For short you can call it the 3 W
