It's happening because the FBI is monitoring your internet usage, this is a known issue.

The questions you should be asking is "How much do they know already, and should I delete all my HD's?"

are you going through a router or direct to the modem?
are you wired or wireless?

What message do you get when it disconnects you?  Does it just take you out of the game to the main menu or do you get patch notes?

What is the nat type displayed under network settings in the XMB menu of your PS3?
