before starhawk was released i read or heard somewere that sony was planning to extend this series to next gen. so, do you think that's still their plan considering the, let's say moderate, success of starhawk and the fact that there's something like dust514? i still hope so but if this dust514 becomes successful i'm not so sure about it because it somehow seems to target the warhawk/starhawk community as potential gamers. does not work for me but how about you?

I think they should make warhawk HD with a few new maps and vehicles for the ps4.

Regardless of other games, I would say Warhawk/Starhawk is on independent hiatus for the next generation.  The development studio is all but gone, Lightbox Interactive laid-off almost everyone and is now a small team iOS developer..  If anything Sony will focus on other properties that still need to be salvaged because they are bigger names or more viable.

Realize, I think warhawk's developer went down the tubes eventually as well, and starhawk still got made!

I suspect that their will be more "spiritual successors" but they may not have any direct ties with these games

Warhawk Developers went to Lightbox and EatSleepandPlay.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I heard that SMS is hiring for someone with experience in open world games with vehicle combat. So...
