Some of the games are unfamiliar to me. Fatal Frame, while a good game, I didn't think that highly of. Silent Hill 2 in particular has to be the best survival-horror mashup ever made. Of course there are others in there such as the third one that get points too. Resident Evil has a number of great games. Siren didn't impress me, and neither did Dead Space. I wasn't a fan of the demo to F.E.A.R. that I played one time.
Thinking about other series, there's the likes of Haunting Grounds and Alone in the Dark to add to the list. D was also pretty interesting.

The fatal frame series I found to be very scary. I usually played at night in the dark to increase the scare factor. Sometimes it would get too intense and had to pause it to collect myself. Though this was when I was younger proubly wouldn't have the same impact but non the less an awesome series that should could out for the PS3

These are my Top 10:
1. Siren
2. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
3. Haunting Ground
4. Silent Hill 3
5. Fatal Frame
6. Silent Hill 2
7. Resident Evil 2
8. Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly
9. Silent Hill Downpour
10. Siren Blood Curse
The first Siren for the PS2 was the scariest game I had ever played, and I think that the fact that it was so hard helped add to the fear factor. Siren Blood Curse, while I like it for being one of the few good survival horror games for the PS3, just wasn't as scary to me because they made it way too easy compared to the first game. That's why it's at the bottom of my list.
