Its a sniper rifle. People dont use it for sniping. Thats when it becomes cheap.

How so? The way i see it the bfg takes more skill up close seeing as you most likely be able to fire one shot before youre killed if your opponent is using a machine gun

The problem with sniper rifles such as BFG, C8 and Thermal is that they are much easier to use without the scope.

The reticle should either be really small or constantly in motion if the scope is not being used.

Truths. Really that's probably the best thing said in this thread. You couldn't shoot a sniper in real life like they do in this game if your life depended on it.

Also, some on topicness.
Online games + easy kill weapons = cheap (in Logan's Shadow that's shotguns, explosives, and the M16k)

While i agree that the reticle is slightly larger than it should be, the target usually needs to be in the tiny dot at the center to guarantee a hit, as snipers to dont follow the cone fire pattern that machine guns do (atleast i think)

But a constantly in motion reticle would kind of make snipers pointless, as the reticle moves very slowly in scope mode imo

Yes, you could. Though I wouldn't suggest doing so, it will end rather badly. You can't, how ever make ~~shoots~~ shots with a real sinper like they do in this game.

Well, I think snipers in any game blow. And yes, it IS because I suck with them. Thank you, that is all.

At least your being honest. I can't stand snipers and shotguns in any game. It just annoys me to be killed in a single bullet. Though that hasn't happened lately, seeing as I can't even play. (Broken psp )
