Could You Survive in the World of The Last of Us?

64 replies 356 views Edited May 23, 2013

Do you have what it takes to live in a postapocolyptic wasteland, where danger lurks everywhere? How would you handle living in a world where you are hunted by the living and the infected/ dead?

Who would you bum gum off of?

Best option would be to form a unit of ppl who I can trust. Call ourselves the shield, we would do our best to help others. If our unit get wiped out by the living and the infected & I was all alone. I would take every last bit of ammo & weapons I could find, head towards the infected & rage kill as many as I can. I'd rather die on the battlefield then live alone in a damned world. Go out like a warrior

I think you could last 7 seasons, if you call yourselves the shield.

If I didn't go down in the initial outbreak and quarantine chaos, I'd like to think my chances of survival are relatively high. I see myself being more of a loner at a time like that, out in the woods. Apart from video games my other main hobbies are orienteering and hunting. Then again, the struggle to keep loved ones safe and out of harms way is likely what is to get me killed. The only way I see myself surviving is if somehow I was forced to endure everything alone.

Being a post-apocolyptic survivor is too mainstream.

I suspect it would be very similar to being out in Auckland on a Friday night. Crazy drunks, violent muggers, cars crashing into buildings everywhere, etc etc.

If it happened I'd probably group up with some friends. Because if I didn't;

I'd probably die soon after, as I'm very careless.

Or I'd get sick and die. I'd forget to wear a coat and catch a fever.

Or I'd die of starvation because without my trusty convection oven or microwave, I'd be pretty screwed.

I have so much faith in my abilities.

Yeah, why exactly is it that when sh!t hits the fan everyone's driving mentality turns into "full speed to the nearest solid object" ?
