What I wanted ND to achieve along with the father-daughter relationship thingy, is to make the characters more depressing. Take a look at Max Payne (Max Payne franchise) and Ethan (Heavy Rain) they are one of the most depressing characters in gaming, I would love to see Joel or Ellie one of them, along of having horror and survival elements thrown in the game it would be nice to also to make you feel how the character is so by giving the characters deep and strong feelings just like depression, melancholy and misery.
Hell yes. I need to cry and feel low.
lol cannot tell if sarcasm or not
Does it matter? Lol
im sure there will be varied feelings. There will be some people that are depressed, some that are fearful, and some like Joel who take care of themselves, don't take crap off no one, yet cares for others at the same time. He isn't depressed I think, he is just accepting life as it is and is mindful to be careful but isn't a wimpy weak pushover.
He'll take advantage of a situation if need be. (Reference the scene where he comes upon a building with some guys in it. sneaks around, kicks butt, takes their bullets and weapons and such.)
I could already tell that Naughty Dog is going for a more dark and serious tone in The Last of Us, so expect to shed a tear here and there, and to feel worthless as a human being once you've finished the game. Okay, maybe the second part is a bit too extreme but yes, this game will make your emotions run amok. Hahaha.
