Even Driveclub as much as I want it is old news

Seriously. Sony lost that event, then somehow won it with a few words about DRM.

Those aren't the only PS4 exclusives you know.....like others have said, Sony announced their big games when they announced the PS4. The exclusive count between both systems is pretty close to even. Plus, other than Forza and Killer Instinct, I don't think any of those games are launch titles. PS4 already looks pretty strong with Knack, Driveclub, and Killzone at launch. They'll announce more exclusives down the road, Gamescom and TGS are huge events for Sony.

I'm going to ignore the other guy, he can't debate and has to post pictures, your post is well thought out and worth a response.

The XBOX lineup was just games I'd want though as opposed to Sony's which was mostly games I couldn't care less about.

I'm aware they probably had nothing at E3 because they already announced everything, but it just served to make their conference boring as hell and conceed victory to Microsoft.

I'd prefer to be seeing something new, the Sony conference was mostly a repeat of Feburary's conference.

You know? I really expected Sony to make an effort at least. instead of making an effort they got really arrogant and started trying to defeat Microsoft with the DRM issue rather than new games.

Okay it worked. Kind of. I would have to take Sony over MS based on how restrictive the console is, but if it was a choice on games and games only like it should be with a console... Then I'd be buying the XBOX One.

That's better, words, things people use to construct a conversation.

Even though it'll still be trying to debate with a zombie.

You would be backing Sony if they just stood there making fart noises for a hour or so. The conference was feburary's conference with some prices and attacks on Microsoft.

If you aren't showing anything new why have a conference at all? Sony wasted my time.

I can admit that Microsoft have no chance of winning the actual console war at all. that isn't my argument.

The argument simply is that Microsoft shown new games, Sony shown a repeat of feburary. For a true gamer, the Microsoft conference was a better thing to be watching.

Despite the fact that I preferred the Microsoft conference.

I've not once said I'm buying the XBOX One.

There are things I don't like about it which are deal breakers.

DRM

TV

Always Connected

Online authentication every 24 hours (anyones internet could go offline for a number of reasons)

Kinnect - This, Wiimote and Playstation move are the worst inventions to come for gaming. Being mandatory is awful.

I loved Microsoft's conference, but those features just tell me to evade it

Just because I'm defending Microsoft does not mean I'm buying it. I'm simply defending them because they put out interesting games while Sony just copy and pasted Feburary.

I'm still buying the PS4. XBOX One despite the conference, no matter what they do they couldn't convince me to forget the issues the console has.

Re: E3 Sony Presentation

Microsofts press conference was pretty bad Imo.

Showing a few meh exclusives wasn't enough to address

the giant elephant in the room during there conference.

Halo/forza - "never saw that coming"

Quantum break  -  Rather quantic dream...

Ryse - Never seen a spartan fight on a ship before to open up a game... Oh wait.

Also, $499 Cat LOL

I don't think sony knocked it out of the park but they didn't have to. Microsft shot it self in the foot,

was microsft more entertaing to watch for gameplay porn maybe if u don't enjoy indie games but overall this was a hardware realease conference essentially. I would rather know why they want me to invest in the system long term over watch this kick **bleep** trailer.

I

Oh, well if the games don't interest you then we're all entitled to our opinions really. From an objective perspective, I wouldn't say Sony has undelivered on exclusives by any means, I guess their choice on when to reveal their line-up probably wasn't the strongest business decision. I mean to be fair, I'm sure their E3 presentation would have been a lot more impressive if both Killzone and Infamous were announced at the conference and not at the console reveal. I understand where you're coming from though, to each his/her own.

Re: E3 Sony Presentation

[ Edited ]

I feel like this topic should be in playstation general section or something. Not that I really care at all.

For me, I saw new games I want and games that had previously been revealed that I want. Some of the multiplats were shown on the XBONE conference. Some on Sony.

As far as marketing their titles earlier in the year, I don't think that was a mistake whatsoever. The industry and consumers have been talking up Sony non-stop since the reveal. E3 has only continued that trend. Not as many big announcements per say (<---sic?) but the conference still had punch with the end being the legit KO.

I can't give points to Microsoft in their conference for any multiplats shown. Those point go equally to both Sony and MS (but Nintendo gets awarded no point and may God have mercy on their souls).

Spark looked cool, though. I'm intrigued.
