I was reffering to Litsa who said the AI is some of the dumbest they've seen.

OP, don't let them get you down. Its a legitimate concern complaint. Final game AI was 'decent' imo, but that earlier footage really showcased AI unseen in final

I'd like an explanation too - not blaming anyone, more curious than anything

Re: E3 explanation?

The E3 demo was very close to what the game actually is, except how well the characters talk to each other in the E3 demo is  much better than in the actual game.

There was also some minor things that changed during development, and are better (hud, crafting options).

That scene at the end where the guy is getting his head blown off by a shotgun is totally scripted, but it's a very short piece of gameplay.

Apart from all that, the interaction with objects in this demo seems to have been done WAY better than it is in the game. You actually go to the object and press triangle. In the current version, engaging in optional conversations is like a quicktime event. You have to be at the right place at the right time to activate the prompt, and then you have to get to it quick enough to activate it (if you're far away looking for collectibles.) That really annoys me in this game.

Yeah... They talked about the AI but in not in a realistic manner. It was very exagerated.

Eh its up there, at least while doing stealth. It smartens up when it knows you are there but until then it is borderline retarded. Stabbing a guy 100 times with them screaming in pain with a guy just 20 feet away looking right at us is pretty dumb. I mean I'm glad the AI wasn't super smart or else it would have been  pretty **bleep** hard.

But having super smart AI should have been an option.... Whats the point of playing on the survival difficulty if the barely act any different than if you were playing on normal?
I was looking forward to an intense challenge and will never get it because it was deemed to difficult.
