I'm changing mine. MrZoobat's favorite cutscene is my favorite cutscene.

My favorite one was in the Ranch house. The "You're right, you're not my daughter" scene.

The little monologue by Ellie about being more scared if she weren't with Joel was excellently delivered and incredibly heart breaking. Joel also showed his ruthless side and the writing was just amazing.

Not only that, but the music cued perfectly and the lighting was awesome too.

Here's the cutscene:

I also really liked the final cutscene.

That scene had me on the bridge of tears. Ellie finally opened up to Joel, about what she was truly afraid of (being alone) and Joel countered her harshly. I hated Joel at that moment, even though I understood perfectly he was only preserving his own emotions... Very intense scene.

My favorite?

Every single one.

Yeah that whole "You're right, you ain't my daughter. And I sure ain't your father neither." or something. That was harsh.

And you really could tell how much Joel and Ellie cared for each other at the death of David part.

The opening scene, its why I bought the game :smileyhappy:

It's not really a cutscene, but it's arguably one of the best parts of the game. The presentation is unreal.

The scene in the ranch with this one sentence that made me all emotional

And also the one in which he's holding Ellie after David's death

My favorite is either the beginning when Sarah dies, when Jole And Ellia have the conversation in the room after she runs away from Tommy's. Or when Ellie kills David and shes chopping him up.

Guess I should have specified, the intro is when the game starts, no a cut scene as it doesnt break, or cut away from the game. The part I was talking about was the escape and eventual death of his daughter, I watched it on a youtube video, stopped and the next morning I bought the game.

its not really a cinematic, but the entire giraffe scene was incredible.

despite all the horrors they have gone through and seen, there is still beauty and peace in the world.
